Hello! Which thread lift gives the best lift effect if you want to change the face shape from round to more oval? ( I'm only 30 years old) I've heard that thicker threads give a better lift.

All thread lifts are not the same. While they sound great, they do have limitations. The biggest limitation is comparing them to a surgical facelift. Someone that is 30 years old may only need fillers to provide an improvement you are looking for. In addition, there are new thread lift procedures that are becoming available. They have advantages vs previous versions. Thus, you should seek a personal consult with an ASAPS membrer to explore all of your options!

Yes, our office as well as many other ASAPS members have financing plans. Having mentioned this, you should visit a board certified plastic surgeon. In certain situations, insurance companies may pay for removal of the extra skin. Your clinical pictures may need be to be submitted to determine if your insurance will cover your cost.

I understand your frustration and concerns.. It is difficult to exhibit patience as a patient that has underwent a big step. However, in the overwhelming majority of the situations, things do get better with time. At your current period of recovery, it would be best to focus on your doctors' post operative recommendations to optimize your result. You may too be one of the patient's that experiences a great result!

Relax! Laser and IPL, intense pulsed light therapy for hair reduction really do reduce and or eliminate unwanted hair growth. Just like the reductions of unwanted pigment and vasculature, it does require multiple treatments. In terms of information, there is a lot of date that is published that confirms the efficacy of such therapy. It is mostly "historic" as this information was new back in the '90's. So perhaps this is what you are referring to. In terms of any one patient's perception of success, you are correct. there are differences in an individuals result. This may be based on the person's experience vs. the technology.
