Degree in General Biology and Chemistry minor

Participated in the pioneer Independent Study Program for the first two years of medical school. Extra concentration and commitment to Plastic Surgery in 4th year electives.

In 8 operating days, the team performed 76 cases, mostly first time cleft lip and palate surgeries, under the direction of Drs. David Dibbell and Donald Laub and hosted by native Ecuadorian plastic surgeon Jorge Palacios.

I’m 5’8 and 125lbs, I’ve had 2 children. My figure is slim, I’ve started to work out to tone for the summer, I eat healthy, etc. I’m happy with my body however I’m not happy with the way my stomach looks, i.e. belly button. I have seen a plastic surgeon before who said I was too thin for a tummy…

Thank you for your question. In our practice we believe that anyone that has had weight loss or has had children is a candidate for tummy tuck. There may not be excessive amounts of loose skin however muscle repair is needed after pregnancy and tummy tuck would also address the extra skin of your belly button. Hello I was wondering if it’s safe to use marijuana before a breast reduction surgery. My surgery is scheduled for January 22nd. Last time I smoked was January 7.

It is very important to inform your surgeon that you smoke marijuana even if it is only occasionally. Although you will most likely be fine, your surgeon and the anesthesiologist need to know all substances that may be in your system for safety reasons when prescribing post operative and anesthetic medications. I'm 21 years old and I haven't been happy with my breasts for years and I have tried a few different ways to increase my breast size, are there any other ways I can naturally increase my breast size before I consider breast augmentation? I have not had any kids and I've heard after pregnancy you go…

Being unhappy about breast size is a common problem for many women. Fear not, you are not alone! It is best not to jump into breast augmentation without educating yourself as much as possible. Only after being fully informed by a board certified plastic surgeon will you be able to make a comfortable decision about what's right for you. We often times advice our patients that if they are planning on having children right away to wait until after you have done so. Otherwise, if you and your surgeon deem that you are a candidate for breast augmentation and are comfortable with the decision then Go for It! Consultations with Dr. Herte have you both sitting in living room easy chairs for your comfort. Plenty of time is allowed with Dr. Herte to explore your options and questions. Consult fee is $50.00 and is applied towards any cosmetic surgical procedure that you schedule with Dr. Herte.
