I have 325cc implants for five years and now I would like to remove them. In order to have a breast lift performed at the same time, is there a new technique or procedure replacing the cuts around the nipple, and reverse T on the breast?

Thank you for sharing. The type of incision for a breast lift (with or without implant removal) depends on the patient’s skin and amount of excess. Sometimes a smaller incision is possible. The nipple position will help determine this. See your local board certified plastic surgeon who needs to examine you in person to decide. Best wishes!

I am having breast reduction surgery next week, I had twins 8 months ago and still have 25-30 pounds of baby weight I am determined to get off after my surgery. Will I go down even more in breast size? I should mention at my thinnest, I was still very chesty.

Thank you for asking. This is hard to say for sure in a forum like this. Many patients will have stable breasts but a significant weight loss could cause the breast to change too. See your board certified plastic surgeon in person. Best wishes.

I had breast augmentation 16 years ago. The surgeon went through my areola. I had to have the right breast redone due to capsular contracture shortly after having the implants done. So I'm sure that the right breast has more damage to the nerves around the areola and more scar tissue in the breast…

Thank you for asking. It is possible to breast feed after a breast augmentation. An areolar incision may make it more difficult for some people. See your plastic surgeon for discussion. Best wishes!

Thank you for asking. This is a very common condition with a very high patient satisfaction rate. You may need a referral to a plastic surgeon from your primary doctor. Each insurance is different but criteria and documentation to support a breast reduction should be in place.
