Hello Dear Dr. Is it possible to have subglandular implant when I want to change A-cup to B-cup (estimated implant volume 250-270 cc ) ? As I know sub glandular technique has more natural look results Looking forward for your reply

I'm not sure where you got the idea that subglandular is 'more natural' as that is not a true statement. Regardless, implant pocket should be your choice after being fully informed of the risks and benefits of each as submuscular pockets do have more benefits to them, especially for the diminished risk of capsular contractures. Implants put above the muscle (subglandular) tend to become rocks in socks as time goes on... in fact a surgeon in my locality has earned the reputation for last name balls. When my patients want above the muscle, I do recommend the textured anatomic implant (which is now implicated in increasing your risks for developing anaplastic large cell lymphoma ALCL - one manufacturer) to help better preserve the outcome to avoid the rock in the sock look. So discuss with your surgeon, ask your surgeon to remove their biases, and then choose what is best for you.

I'm an ironworker and would love to get breast implants, but I don't know if that would be safe for the line of work I do. I'm afraid that they would get popped or something.. any suggestions.. thank you

Implants are quite durable and on top of that, they come with a warranty to help replace them should they rupture before 10 years... and that should provide you ample protection from any concerns about your line of work and its potential impact on implants. Once you are 'healed', there are NO RESTRICTIONS on your activities thereafter. So get them and enjoy what they can do for you.

Having a reduction as a teen is a very personal decision as you will have to weigh the benefits of the procedure against the risks and not being able to breast feed or losing sensation are real risks. In addition, you could still experience breast development and get larger again and must accept the scarring that is guaranteed. The benefits are many, including being able to participate in sports as you have enjoyed and if your breasts are truly making your life miserable, then a reduction can work for you.

I'm sorry to hear of your journey and complications, as they unfortunately do occur. Your surgeon sounds like he/she is trying to do everything possible to help you get a good result and at this point, all you can do is focus on healing and then seeing what outcome you end up with. Then and only then can you start formulating a plan to help you improve your final result. If you have hypertrophic scarring, use of scar products can help as will steroid injections into the scar itself. As for healing, a wound that size would be expected to fill in rather quickly, depending on how clean the base of the wound is at this time. Pictures would help immensely and knowing just how your procedures were done would also be beneficial to those commenting.
