He or she can address your concerns, evaluate your breasts, abdomen, flanks, etc. - areas which will be evaluated for "mommy make-over." In-person evaluation is essential to determining whether the surgeon can make appropriate changes and meet your expectations. You have, very reasonably, waited years since your bowel obstruction. The best advice is to address your concerns with your surgeon and find out why he/she has made the recommendations that they did.

When planning a lot of procedures to be done at the same time there is a lot of things to consider. The order your surgeon is suggesting makes sense for two reasons. It works in terms of the areas of the body having procedures, and it keeps the time for surgery at a reasonable amount for each procedure. The order you're asking for makes the time needed to do the second operation a lot longer than the first. Of course, that all depends upon the amount of work involved with your tummy and breasts. You should have a talk with your surgeon and make a plan together that you're comfortable with. Remember that you can also break things up further and have three procedures instead of two if you're more comfortable taking things in a different order.
