Case #105491

Fitness Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)

She presented for plastic surgery after having two children, and wanted the vertical right abdominal scar improved. The scar was a result of surgery in Russia at age 14 for perforated appendicitis. Because she was young, healthy, and also wanted her abdomen to look as good as possible, tummy tuck with scar removal was recommended. Dr. Laverson incorporated elements of his fitness technique for contours that are naturally present among lean women before pregnancy. Flattening of her post-pregnancy abdominal bulge is from abdominal wall (rectus abdominus fascia) plication, performed with nearly every abdominoplasty procedure.
