Is it possible to have malar and medpor implants removed?
Asked 2014-08-22
I've been in a lot of pain every since malar and medpor implants were placed in my eyes and face. I want to have it all removed. Is there a doctor somewhere that is familiar with this procedure that will help me?

Procedure(s)
Yes, facial implants can be removed. It would be a good idea to obtain your operative reports to determine the extent of your surgery and the fixation of the Medpore Implants. There will most likely be some scar tissue that will have to resolve with time so some post operative facial asymmetry could be possible. Consider seeking out an ASAPS member in your area for an evaluation.
