I will start with your conclusion. Seven weeks is too little time to schedule appropriate surgery and recovery when you're having a wedding (and my congratulations to you). At this point, injectable fillers and neuromodulators such as Botox would be useful for the right indications. Botox for glabellar creases is an excellent initial step and does not need to be done during a surgery procedure. Proper use of Botox beneath the lateral eyebrow can give a slight elevation of the lateral brow. Under-eye grooves may be an indication for hyaluronic fillers such as Restylane which can be used with care, but not if the primary problem is protruding fat pads. If experienced plastic surgeons recommend blepharoplasty, then you will probably want to schedule it sometime after your wedding. I usually recommend lower lid surgery heal well before HA filler is placed, but other surgeons may recommend another approach. Best wishes.

I am a 42 years old I had a baby 16 months ago my breasts are incredibly huge and heavy and no longer are as firm and I need a revision. My back and my and upper body is sore due to this. I am taking prescribed medication for the pain. Pro bono work?

I would encourage you to see board certified plastic surgeons in person for evaluation and recommendations. If your breasts are DD cup size or larger and you have the symptoms mentioned, you likely qualify for breast reduction surgery. This would typically be covered by most health insurance plans. Surgeons generally can provide you with a quote for office based surgery on a self-pay or financed basis, which can be much more reasonable than the same procedures when done at a hospital facility (due to high hospital fees). It is unlikely that you will find surgeons that will do free surgery, though a residency training program typically has a sliding scale based on income. Finally, breast reduction surgery is one of the most satisfying procedures for patients. You will almost certainly be really pleased you chose to have it done. Best Wishes

I am 6 weeks post-op and my left eyebrow was over-corrected (on purpose, per my surgeon) and my crease/left eye feels tight and looks bigger. Can a drop of Botox help soften this and does in interfere with the natural healing process? My right side has settled perfectly. Also, what about massage?

I will speculate based on your description, but encourage you to continue in-person follow up with your plastic surgeon (who has the best knowledge of your anatomy, his or her technique and typical healing). Six weeks is early to evaluate final healing and symmetry, and generally a good time to be using tissue massage (in incision areas and zones of dissection under the skin surface). Botox or other neuromodulators can be helpful if there is a component of overactive muscle tone on the higher side. I doubt that it would interfere with incision healing.

Hello! Which thread lift gives the best lift effect if you want to change the face shape from round to more oval? ( I'm only 30 years old) I've heard that thicker threads give a better lift.

The thread lift has fallen out of favor after experience showed limited and short-term improvement. Other surgical and non-surgical techniques have shown better results, depending on your individual anatomy and changes. Altering facial shape may be done by selective liposuction, fat grafting, hyaluronic volume fillers, and perhaps facial implants. I would suggest that, rather than pre-selecting a technique, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons, and learn from their assessments and recommendations.
