Case #130876

67 y.o female with Breast Reduction

This is a breast reduction case performed on a 67-year-old woman, 164 lbs, who presented wearing an F+ bra size. 340 grams was resected each from the right breast and left breast. The goal of the procedure was to reduce overall breast volume and reposition the nipple-areola complex to a higher location on the chest wall. In the after photo, taken four months post-op, you can see the areolar scars are still maturing, which is expected at this stage. The breasts sit noticeably higher on the chest compared to the before photo, with the nipple-areola complex repositioned and the lower pole reduced in size. Scar maturation continues well beyond four months, so what you're seeing here is still an early result. Shown with the patient's written consent.
