Case 3 - Lipoabdominoplasty & Breast Implants

A female patient underwent breast implant exchange via a transabdominal approach combined with lipoabdominoplasty. The procedure included placement of 315 cc microtextured, moderate-profile silicone implants (Silimed), allowing simultaneous breast contour optimization through abdominal access. Lipoabdominoplasty incorporated liposuction of the lateral thoracic region (“breast tail”), with a total aspirate of approximately 3500cc. (1520 g), followed by abdominal flap advancement and contour refinement. The total operative time was 2:30mins, without intraoperative complications. Postoperative evolution was favorable with progressive recovery. The patient demonstrated significant improvement in breast projection and abdominal contour, achieving enhanced body proportion.
