Medical grade Silicone injected into my nasal labial folds
Is there a Doctor or a Plastic Surgeon in the United States that has the LASEmaR 800-808-nm diode laser made by Eufoton, Trieste, Italy? I had medical grade Silicone injected into my nasal labial folds, under my eyes, in my cheeks, chin. For years there was not a problem, until the last two years or so. I'm having a bad reaction, lumps all over my face at the injections sites. I look deformed. It's affecting the quality of my life. I was so confident now I'm so self conscious I just want to hide. I look deformed. Please if there is doctor or a hospital or a plastic surgeon in New York City or any State in the U.S.A. that has this laser please reach out to me. Thank you very much.
Silicone injections are a big problem. The silicone typically takes years to manifest itself, and by the time it does, it is not removable. The treatment is usually symptomatic to the areas that use the biggest problem. Patients often require multiple surgeries. Sorry for the bad news! Silicone is a bad filler and should not be used on any patient, in my opinion.
I do not have this laser. However, I treated a patient that had silicone injected into her nasal bridge / nasion region on multiple times to improve her nasal projection. Initially happy, with time, she had the silicone "flow" = spread from the initial location causing her nose to be wider at the top of her nose - the nasion region. To correct this problem, I performed an open rhinoplasty procedure and was able to remove the injected unwanted silicone located beneath the skin using a CO2 laser to vaporize the unwanted silicone. This treatment pathway may be an option for you.
