I can't stand the tightness after my breast augmentation, what can I do?
Asked 2014-08-21
Prior to my breast augmentation I was a AAA cup size. I am now post op 1.5 years after the breast augmentation with 339CC silicone under the muscle and I feel like they are constantly compressed. I lift weights 4 days a week and feel like the tightness is getting worse with all movement. There is no capsular contracture, but my muscles are just so tight over the implants. I want them moved to over the muscle but am scared they will turn into the ball and socket phenomenon, but I can't stand the tightness! Help!!!

This is a difficult problem. If you do not have contracture and you do not want to reduce the weight lifting, then over the muscle with a textured silicone implant would be the best. This would solve your issue. The ball and the sock should not occur with your small size unless you breast feed or other significant changes take place. Good luck.
