Breast Size After Reduction
I am 1 week post-op. I am 5ft 0in tall, 160lbs. medium build. I went in for a reduction from a DDD to a C. After reading the pathology notes. The left breast was larger than right naturally. She removed 525 from left and 373 from right. My breast absolutely DO NOT look to be a C cup. They look more like a B. The change from where I was and where I am now is such a drastic change. I am horrified and disappointed. I need to have a revision to be increased at least one cup size. Is there anything I can do to fix this or will they eventually fill in a little more. I read every 200g is equivalent to 1 cup size.
Focus on healing and letting your surgeon know of your concerns as you heal. You likely have adequate fat that can be harvested to fill in your breasts after you are completely recovered if its deemed necessary. Its very possibly you may grow to like your new look but if you don't, know that there are simple fixes that can be done under local in the office and you should also find out what your surgeon's revision policy is as well.
