Are My Post-Op Results Normal? Right Eye Contour Different from Left
I had lower blepharoplasty two weeks ago, with laser resurfacing. My left eye is healing nicely, but the right eye has a large, firm lump that is not present on the left. The lump is between my lower eyelid muscle and my tear trough. Not like milia, rather looks and feels like my tear trough on the left, which leads me to believe it's fat that has been misplaced. The contour is off. This eye was more swollen after the surgery and is taking longer to heal in general. But this lump seems abnormal, and is not changing or reducing along with the rest of my healing process. I am going to the doc for an evaluation in a couple of days, but should I be worried?
This is definitely something that you should follow up with your surgeon. Without more information on what type of approach your surgeon used to execute your eyelid surgery I would be guessing. Does not sound like an emergency but should be followed up with your plastic surgeon ASAP.
