Breast augmentation replacement implants mini tummy tuck lipo flanks stomach scared how long to recover ?
I am having replacement breast augmentation with lift also lipo flanks and stomach mini tummy tuck. I am in great health also I had 2 c sections 8 years ago. I am worried how long is recovery and pain?
Thanks for your question - this comes up all the time in the office. Every patient is unique in their pain tolerance and recovery but about two weeks is a good estimate for getting back to your usual daily routine. It may be a bit longer to return to more vigorous activities and exercise. Your surgeon will guide you through the recovery process and help determine when it is safe to return to more strenuous activities. The combination of procedures is commonly performed together and is safe. Best wishes on a speedy recovery and fantastic result!
Thank you for your question. Although there is always post-operative surgical pain, this can be alleviated with medication, rest and post-surgical care such as ice packs and compression garments to ensure your recovery is as comfortable as possible. I would allow yourself 2 weeks for recovery and an additional 4 weeks before you return to your baseline activities such as strenuous exercise and lifting heavy items. It is best to review your post-operative recovery plan in detail with your board certified plastic surgeon to ensure you are on the same page. Best of luck with your surgery!
First and foremost, make sure you are having surgery by an experienced board certified plastic surgeon, in a safe facility with safe anesthesia. Tha is a good amount. Surgery! Recovery is relative term and individualized. These procedures are not terribly painful! You should be up walking the evening of surgery and driving in 2-3 weeks. Full activity should resume in 4-6 weeks.
My guess is that it will be about 2 weeks before you are driving and running a lot of errands. Pain is mainly from the muscle plication with the TT. Most of my patients take pain medication the first 3-4 days every 4-6 hours and then can space it out. It's uncommon to need it after about a week.
Best of Luck!
