The dues support the 30+ ongoing studies that have been funded by The Foundation including studies such as “Cytotoxicity of Implant-Exposed Serum on Breast Cancer”, “Impact of Xeomin, Dysport, and Botox on Nerve Injuries”, “Effect of Intramuscular Fat Grafting on New Muscle Formation”, “Does TXA reduce Bruising After Hyaluronic Acid Filler Injection: A Prospective half face study”, “Increasing SMAS Durability via Photochemical Passivation for Facelifts”, and “Histologic Effects of Energy-Based Skin Tightening Treatments”.

Dr. Tracy Pfeifer highlights key developments for The Aesthetic Society, including the new impact factor for Aesthetic Surgery Journal, evolving needs across generations of surgeons, plans for The Aesthetic MEET 2026, upcoming participation at ISAPS in Singapore, and an important cybersecurity alert for members.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as the president of the Aesthetic Foundation for the next year.

Dear Members, It has been a great pleasure to serve as your president for the past 7 months. The theme of my presidency is "energy and team," which has been a perfect recipe for accomplishing all the initiatives that I set forth for the year.

The beautiful Fall is here and it's time for pumpkins and creative Halloween costumes. For The Aesthetic Society, this has been the year of reimagination and we've continued to reinvent both our internal and external processes to set ourselves up for success in the new aesthetic landscape.
