August is coming to an end, which is usually a time of slowing down for businesses but not here at The Aesthetic Society. Four months into my presidency and the spirit of "energy and team" is propelling us to a reimagined direction: to adapt to a new aesthetic environment.
Our AlliedPro program is spreading its roots and attracting new members as the word is getting out. This category of membership provides much-needed organized education and a sense of community for a group of providers essential for delivery of aesthetic care. As is the case for our surgeon members, Allied Pro membership in The Aesthetic Society signifies excellence and prestige. The program is geared towards all who participate in delivering aesthetic care to our patients, from business managers and patient coordinators to back office, injectors, and other members of medical spas. This is being led by our newly developed committee which has representatives from across the entire aesthetic market. Please join me by signing up members of your aesthetic team for this prestigious category of membership in The Aesthetic Society. Our featured injectable virtual course "Behind the Syringe, Beauty of lnjectables" promises to be an exciting and innovative meeting with faculty from across the entire aesthetic spectrum. This course will be held virtually on January 11, 2025, while featuring live injections.
As promised, we are reimagining the delivery of our education and we now have our newly developed Aesthetic Society Academy which transforms the way you learn. On-Demand surgical and nonsurgical education designed with your success in mind, this dynamic online academy was developed to empower you with the latest advancements in clinical, aesthetic education. This is available to both plastic surgeons and Allied Pro members. Our program committee is also working tirelessly to put together The Aesthetic MEET, our treasured annual meeting which promises to be an inclusive, vibrant meeting with the latest educational content representing the entire aesthetic market. It will be held in Austin, Texas, March 20-23, 2025.
The leadership team just returned from our annual Executive Retreat in Dallas, Texas. It was a great opportunity to reassess our progress and plan our continued momentum forward. There, we had our inaugural "Society Scoop" town hall meeting where Mark Theis (our CEO) and I entertained questions submitted by our membership. We also met with our Premier Partners and discussed ways to collaborate around our common interests. As is customary with my Aesthetic Society travels, I was able to squeeze in a couple of runs, one with my good friend Dr. Brad Calobrace.
