Description

Memorial Plastic Surgery (MPS) is one of the country’s premier plastic surgery practices, offering the full spectrum of breast, body, and facial surgery. The MPS Fellowship is designed for ambitious plastic surgeons seeking an intensive, high-volume experience combining advanced surgical training with meaningful exposure to the business of private practice.

Under the mentorship of four expert surgeons, fellows benefit from a high volume and diversity of cases, and a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Our goal is to develop surgeons with exceptional technical ability, sound clinical judgment, operating room efficiency, and a refined aesthetic acumen. As fellows demonstrate increasing technical proficiency, they are given progressive autonomy, including the opportunity to manage their own clinic and operate independently.

Beyond surgical training, fellows gain firsthand insight into the operations of a thriving private practice, including marketing and practice growth, human resources, finance, and the implementation of emerging technologies including artificial intelligence. Our clinical, administrative, and surgical operations – including six fully equipped operating rooms – are housed within a single state-of-the-art facility. This combination of advanced training, progressive autonomy, and business experience prepares fellows for a successful transition into practice.

Each fellow is expected to complete a clinical research project and submit an abstract for presentation at The Aesthetic Meeting. MPS will cover travel expenses for fellows presenting their research at major scientific meetings.

The fellowship provides a competitive salary, along with medical malpractice and health insurance coverage. Applicants must be eligible to obtain a Texas medical license, have completed an ACGME-accredited plastic surgery residency program, and be ABPS board eligible or certified by the fellowship start date.
